The new 14,300 square meter facility will provide palliative care and assistance to patients with orphan diseases; the care continuum will also include geriatrics (elderly care) and medical rehabilitation. The new facility will operate as a unified complex with the Hadassah treatment center, Medscan's flagship clinic in Moscow.
The medical center will provide services to patients with chronic diseases that have caused them to partially or completely lose the ability to care for themselves. Golden Care will provide rehabilitation, adaptation, and socialization for those whose quality of life can be improved, as well as prevention of complications and sequelae of chronic diseases such as pressure ulcers and others.
For rehabilitation, a hydrokinesiotherapy department is equipped (with aquatic physical therapy), featuring necessary equipment for water exercises, including gait training and horizontal spinal traction.
The facility will also open a 25-bed pediatric unit specializing in treating incurable chronic pathologies. It will include an intensive care complex, operating room, and rehabilitation department.
As Medscan Group explained, Golden Care can utilize medications and medical devices unique to Russia that are registered in OECD territories. It will be possible to recruit international specialists and organize appointments with physicians from Israel and other countries.
Comfortable two-bed patient rooms are equipped with bathroom-showers, kitchenettes, wardrobes, televisions, and other amenities. Waiting areas with cafeterias are provided for family visits. Optimal environmental conditions in the medical center will be ensured by over 100 ventilation systems. For safety and continuous patient monitoring, over 400 video cameras are installed.
